Questions we get asked.

Ten things clients want settled before they book — the two marked with a star are the ones that most often get misread.

Ten questions

Before you book.

The first two matter most: what the price is built from, and what we will and will not put on your floors.

How is the price worked out — and can it go up once you arrive?

From the premises, the task list and the frequency. The figure is confirmed in writing before anything is booked. If something outside that scope needs doing, it is quoted and agreed first; it does not appear on an invoice as a surprise. There are no online prices on this site because a figure set before anyone has seen the premises would not be honest.

What do you clean with, and is it safe for my floor or stone?

Products are chosen for the material. Sealed and unsealed stone, timber, vinyl and carpet are not treated the same way, so we ask what the surface is before quoting. Acidic agents and abrasives are not used on surfaces that cannot take them. We do not claim certifications we have not been given, so if you need a specific approval, ask and we will tell you plainly whether we hold it.

How long does a clean take, and do I need to be there?

It depends on the area and the task list, which is why both are agreed first. For scheduled work you do not need to be present — access is arranged in advance. On a first visit it usually helps to walk the scope together.

Can I have the same slot every week or fortnight?

Yes. Regular clients are given a fixed slot on the cycle they chose — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — and the same attendance pattern is kept unless you ask to change it.

How are the people attending vetted, and can I keep the same ones?

Access arrangements and the crew attending are agreed in advance, and you are told who is coming. Where continuity matters, say so when the scope is set and it is built into the schedule. If you need identity verification as a condition of attendance, raise it before the first visit.

What is the difference between routine cleaning and a deep clean?

Routine cleaning is upkeep of the surfaces in daily use, on a cycle. A deep clean is recovery: it reaches grout, skirtings, appliance exteriors and the gaps that upkeep misses. Most clients need routine cleaning regularly and a deep clean at a point.

What does a move-in or move-out clean include, and can I get a checklist?

It is worked room by room on an empty property: skirtings, handles and switches, cupboard and wardrobe interiors, kitchen and bathroom detail, floor edges and window tracks. The checklist is the scope — it is written down before the visit and walked through with you at the end.

Can commercial premises be cleaned outside working hours?

Yes, and it is normal practice rather than an exception. Before opening, after closing, or during quiet periods — the window is agreed with the area and task list before the first visit, along with any keyholding or alarm arrangements.

What happens if I need to cancel or move a visit?

Tell us as early as you can and the visit is moved rather than lost. Cancellation with reasonable notice costs nothing. Where access is not available on the day, we will say so plainly rather than invoice for work that did not happen.

How do I contact you, and where do you work?

By email at support@rampart-cleaning.services or by phone on +44 7340 593236. Send the premises, roughly how much floor there is and how often you need us, and you get a figure back. Service coverage is confirmed against your postcode when you enquire.

Tell us the premises and the tasks, and we put the scope and the figure in writing.
