Most floor damage done by cleaning is done by using the wrong thing on the right floor. Sealed stone and unsealed stone behave differently. Timber reacts to water. Vinyl and LVT scratch. Carpet holds a stain long after the fibre looks dry.
So we ask what the floor is before we quote, and the method follows from the answer rather than from what is on the van.
